I wish we would see more of these downtown. Close to the Atwater Public Market.

1:43 PM
The main building of the Atwater Public Market. This Art Deco-style building was built in 1933. What a beautiful day this was.

1:45 PM
I love public markets! So many photo opportunities!

1:51 PM
Street life in downtown Montreal. It was a superb day.

4:03 PM
I took this one for the lighting. A few years ago, I had an Instagram account for sharing images similar to that one. The account name, if translated from French, meant: Montreal is dying.

Montreal has become a true bike city. The transformation over the past 15 years is remarkable, reminiscent of Amsterdam.

7:52 PM
The best public park in Montreal, the Sir Wilfrid Laurier park, where I used to stay close. I go there from time to time.

8:21 PM
Typical architecture of the Plateau Mont-Royal and part of Rosemont, Montreal. Built around 1890-1900. I think there is some Victorian style to this house (especially the balcony).

8:24 PM
Another typical architectural style example that you'll find in Montreal. These buildings were typically built circa 1930.

A charming building from 1913, which I believe was once a popular cinema. It appears to be closed now. Unfortunately, many theaters have shut down in recent years, largely due to streaming services like Netflix.

4:48 PM
My office building offers a view of the Quartier des Spectacles, a vibrant area filled with festivals year-round. Notice the building with the painted woman's face, looking at me. Mesmerizing.

This is the best place to see Montreal city: from the terrace at the top of Mount Royal. I go there many times a year, essentially all seasons except winter. Hot summer day today.

10:54 AM
I think this is the best place to overlook downtown Montreal.

10:59 AM
Montréal, you can be so beautiful… it’s just a matter of paying attention and selecting the best angle!

This is a fire station with a troubled history. Many years ago, it burned when the firefighters left for an emergency and forgot the oven, which sparked the fire. Yep, you read it right. It took many years to fully reconstruct this historic building. I think they did a wonderful job.

11:16 AM
On Mont-Royal Street, in the morning. The street is closed for cars for a few days in the summer. People are enjoying and taking advantage of this.
