This is Montreal, Summer 2026

11:49 AM

An artifact of Montreal's past era. We used to find them everywhere on downtown Montreal's Ste-Catherine Street back in the fifties.

7:54 PM

Another great fire station, located in Mile-end, off-center in Montreal. Sadly, we can see signs of deterioration in some parts of the facade.

7:56 PM

A boutique on St-Denis Street. It used to be a great place for street shopping but alas Amazon killed that. 😔

7:07 PM

Right after leaving the restaurant, in front of it, actually, is this typical beautiful building facade. It reminds me of some apartment buildings in New York City, but smaller.

12:52 PM

There is no amount of trees and plants that can overcome the ugliest building of Montreal. Sadly, this apartments building sits in my neighborhood. 😒

1:22 PM

Montréal’s iconic Olympic Stadium. It is getting a new permanent rooftop so that events can be held all year round.

7:31 PM

Saw this great bell tower reflecting sunset light, or golden hour light, now part of Montreal well-known university building, named UQAM.

10:47 AM

Superb neighborhood and typical near McGill university. This picture was taken during a long bike ride in the morning. More photos coming.

11:07 AM

A beautiful house in Westmount, Montreal, while biking on the Maisonneuve bike trail. I went on a nowhere for that bike ride and found so many gems. That was one of them.

11:34 AM

Probably one of the last check in for this photo series. A beautiful house north of Montreal Island, on Gouin street. Wow.

12:12 PM

You don’t know Montreal if you never visited Schwartz's, THE place for smoked meat! 😋
